I think this edition is more stable for gaming due its not doing things in the background
its "quieter" then home edition
there no login delay / no black screen here in this version, check video

I personally don't use openshell and tried replacing it with startisback and explorer keeps bugging out and can't use windows now with the last build. is it the same here?

yeah but pre-activated ones are available around online, you can use those. latest version that works with 2004 is 2.9.1
Deletealso, what's with 'system: systemsettings.exe' errors I keep getting? and I thought it was with another tweak I used but I tried a fresh install and I instantly get the error (mostly encountered with "network & internet settings" and in "themes" under personalization). although just using the classic control panel applets is a fix but its still an issue. granted I also encounter this issue with other 2004 builds. any pre-2004 (ltsb, 1909, etc.) install does not have this issue. I'm guessing something changed with windows and metro and some tweaks?
otherwise, good job with the build, seems stable enough. will test further

yes it happens only when opening specific settings that are under metro. no problems whatsoever with any of the classic applets
